This year we are excited to offer two Fellowship Alum Membership Choices: the Child and Family Psychotherapy option and the Adult Psychodynamic Psychotherapy option. Membership in either Clinical group brings with it the benefits of invitations to additional select programming, and opportunities to connect and learn with experienced analysts.

Child and Family Psychotherapy Option

Fellowship Alum Members and ATP Students with a focused interest in working with children, adolescents, and families can choose to join the Child and Family group. In addition to the benefits of the Fellowship Alum Membership, members of the Child and Family group will receive:

  • An invitation to participate in a six session clinical seminar entitled Advanced Offerings in Therapy with Child, Adolescent, and Emerging Adults in which we will use discussions of detailed clinical material and address conundrums of clinical work with children and parents. The seminar will aim to elucidate features of play in its many presentations, modes, and levels, and seek ways of creating opportunities for furthering and deepening the clinical work.
  • An invitation to attend the Child Analysis Program's Child Clinical Nights (two clinical programs per year).
  • Access to premier clinicians and teachers in the fields of Child and Adolescent Therapy.

Adult Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Option

Fellowship Alum Members with a focused interest in working with Adults are welcome to join the Adult Psychodynamic Psychotherapy group. In addition to the benefits of the Fellowship Alum Membership, members of the Adult Psychodynamic Psychotherapy group will receive:

  • An invitation to participate in an eight session seminar entitled Deepening your Psychoanalytic Self to build on your Fellowship experience.
  • An invitation to participate in a mentorship program to help with professional development. Stephanie Schechter, PsyD will serve as a liaison to BPSI mentors and supervisors.

These annual memberships begin on July 1, 2019.
