A Special Clinical Program: Listening to Deepening Analytic Work

Contemporary psychoanalysis offers a rich and transformative therapeutic tool to alleviate suffering. Please join us in person to hear a BPSI Candidate present their deepening work to a senior analyst which will offer a lens into the therapeutic action of psychoanalysis. There will be ample time for questions and discussion about the clinical process. After the clinical program and during the morning coffee, there will be an opportunity to hear and ask questions about the experience of training at BPSI?

 

Presenter

Lana Elhalabi, MD is an adult psychiatrist and a 4th year Candidate in the Adult Psychoanalysis Program at BPSI. She also completed the ATP and the 1-year Fellowship at BPSI. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and provides psychotherapy supervision to psychiatry residents. Lana has a private practice in Providence, RI and Newton, MA.

Discussant 

Susan Kattlove, MD is a training and supervising analyst at BPSI, and on the faculty at BPSI and MIP. She has a private practice in Cambridge, MA. 

Moderator 
Brigitte Zakari, PsyaD, LMHC is a Psychoanalyst member at BPSI. She is on the faculty of the Adult Analytic Program and the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program. She is in private practice in Brookline, MA.

Cancellation Policies & Procedures
If BPSI cancels an event, all registrants will receive a full refund of fees paid (no administration charge) no later than two business days following the scheduled date of the event, using the original form of payment. Any program participant requesting their individual program registration be canceled, must submit their request in writing via email to the BPSI Office at team@bpsi.org. For fee-based events, a request for cancellation (and refund using the original form of payment) must be received no later than 48 hours in advance of the event. Requests received later than 48 hours prior to the event will not be processed or accepted. All approved refunds are subject to a $10.00 administrative fee.
